Abu Dhabi, Oct 28, IRNA -- Iran's Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi
on Wednesday discussed bilateral relations and regional developments
with UAE's senior officials in Abu Dhabi.
In a meeting with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed
Al-Nahyan, Kharrazi by reminding current situation in Iraq said the
coalition forces mistakes caused such chaotic conditions in the
country.
Iran's foreign minister added Iraq's neighbouring countries
especially Islamic Republic of Iran and the United Arab Emirates can
play a constructive role in establishing security in Iraq.
He explained Iran's views on peaceful use of nuclear technology
and said it is Iran's legitimate right to use nuke technology but
major countries in the world want to use this technology exclusively.
Kharrazi emphasized that Iran is not going to achieve nuclear
weapons and so is cooperating seriously with International Atomic
energy Agency (IAEA).
Abu Dhabi crown prince welcomed Kharrazi's visit to the UAE and
called for an appropriate relation between the two countries.
Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan by emphasizing the necessity
of coordination and cooperation between the region's countries for
establishing security and stability in Iraq, said the coalition
forces presence in Iraq has been an outcome of Saddam Hossein mistakes
including invasion of Iran and Kuwait.
He expressed hope that Iran and UAE can move toward settlement of
regional difficulties by mutual cooperation.
Earlier, the Iranian foreign minister visited Kuwait and Saudi
Arabia on Monday and Tuesday and held talks with their senior
officials on bilateral issues and regional developments.
