Athens, Sept 28, IRNA -- Kazem Rajabi and Habibollah Moussavi from
Iran stood on the highest podiums in the weightlifting competitions of
the 12th Paralympic Games in Athens on Monday.
In 100 kg category, Rajabi overpowered 15 rivals by hoisting
242.5 kg in his third attempt, breaking the Briton Nicolas's record
by nine kilograms.
The Iranian sensation raised 230 kg and 237.5 kg in his first and
second efforts.
In +100 kg class, Moussavi also improved the Paralympic record as
he locked 250 kg above his head in the third attempt.
He had already lifted 237.5 kg and 240 kg.
The world's strongest man, Hossein Rezazadeh, presented the medals
to the winners.
