Vienna, Sept 29, IRNA -- Abolqassem Mahi handed Iran a silver medal at
the 20th World Veteran Weightlifting Championships in Baden, Austria,
Tuesday.
The Iranian 56 kg lifter finished runner-up in the 60-64 age group
competitions.
Ja'far Zabihi, representing Iran in 69 kg category of the same
age group, stood seventh.
Forty-three countries have pitted 500 weightlifters in the annual
world event.
Iran has made debut in the Baden-based meet with 23 weightlifters.
