Berlin, April 2, IRNA-Bayern Munich forward Vahid Hashemian has been offered to Bundesliga rivals Hannover 96 for a transfer fee of 1.5 million euros, the online sports service sport1 reported Saturday.
The 28-year-old Hashemian whose contract with Bayern Munich expires in the summer of 2007, has been allowed to leave the club by the end of this season.
A frustrated reserve striker, the Iranian goalgetter has failed to live up to Bayern's high expectations following his 2 million euro-transfer fee from VfL Bochum last summer.
The former Pas player - nicknamed the 'helicopter' for his jumping skills - is being chased by several Bundesliga teams, among them VfL Bochum, Hertha Berlin and especially the second division club FC Cologne.
Furthermore, the Turkish first division squad Fenerbahce Istanbul has also expressed interest in the signing of the Iranian national football team superstar.
