Tehran, April 6, IRNA-An earthquake measuring 3.2 on the open-ended Richter scale shook suburbs of Bandar Anzali in northern province of Gilan Wednesday.
According to the seismological base of Tehran University's Geophysics Institute, the tremor occurred at 09:24 hours local time (0454 GMT).
The mild quake occurred in 37.59 latitude and 49.81 longitude.
There is no report of damage to property caused by the quake.
Iran is situated on some of the world's most active seismic fault lines and quakes of varying magnitudes are of usual occurrence.
