Tehran, April 14, IRNA-Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh said here Thursday that investments of dlrs 150 billion will be made in Iran's oil industry in the coming years.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the 10th International Oil, Gas and Petrochemistry Exhibition here on Thursday, Zanganeh said that no factionalism and no change in the cabinet would affect the policy for promoting the oil industry in the coming years, saying there is national consensus for developing the oil industry.
He invited the Iranian enterprises to a positive competition and constructive cooperation with foreign partners.
Terming prospects of oil industry of Iran as 'brilliant and promising', Zanganeh referred to high expertise and skilled manpower as two advantages of Iranian oil sector, calling on the Iranian companies to give priority to the production of high quality goods for market at logical price.
He said Iran's oil industry should not be inward-looking, adding, "Any river not joining any other river would be doomed to a quagmire." The minister said training would be the main priority in Iranian oil industry in future.
