Iranian young inventor wins gold medal in Geneva

Arak, Markazi pro, April 14, IRNA-Iranian student Pargol Kalantari won the gold medal at the 33th International Inventions competition held in Geneva, Switzerland.

Kalantari, from Iran's central city of Arak, invented a system to control the vital life signals of drivers and pilots while driving.

President felicitates nation on victory of young inventors in Switzerland

President Mohammad Khatami on Thursday felicitated the Iranian nation on magnificent victory of young Iranian inventors at the 33th International Exhibit of Modern Inventions in Switzerland.

In a message to the nation, President Khatami said, "I felicitate the noble Iranian nation on honorable shining of Iranian young inventors in Switzerland who ranked first by winning 47 medals and the special award of the international event. I sincerely appreciate the hard work of the young inventors who won the medals from the international contest."

"The youth are invaluable and unique means the country needs for development and progress. They will bring great honor for the nation and the Islamic Revolution," President Khatami said.

He called on officials in charge of the youth affairs to prepare the ground for progress and success of the young generation.
