Isfahan, April 17, IRNA-Members of the visiting Belgian economic and trade delegation in a tour of Isfahan Steel Company on Sunday declared their readiness for cooperation.
The Belgian delegation representing 26 trade and economic companies inspected various parts of Isfahan Stool Co. and the affiliated firms including the production section of Saba Steel.
A report released by the Public Relations Department of Isfahan Steel Co. said that during a meeting, the Belgian delegates expounded on the potentials and expertise of the companies represented by the delegation.
For his part, the representative of the Belgian Company called Arcelor said that the visit is mainly associated with the country's petrochemical and steel requirements.
"Given the industrial potentials of both countries, Iran and Belgium are in position to raise the level of their collaboration in future.
"The interesting point about Isfahan Steel Co. is that both old and modern equipment are used in running it, particularly since the specialists in charge seem to have no problem in monitoring such equipment," he added.
He noted that Arcelor will make a dual effort in future to broaden the scope of economic and trade cooperation between Iran and Belgium.
Meanwhile, during the meeting, the deputy head of Isfahan Steel Co. for planning affairs presented a report on this industrial complex and referred to the company's expertise as a crucial factor for cooperation with Belgian enterprises.
