Tehran, April 17, IRNA-Iran exported 11 billion dollars worth of non-oil goods and services during the last Iranian calendar year of 1383 (ended March 20, 2005), it was announced Sunday.

According to a report released by Iran's Trade Development Organization, the exported goods showed a rise of 23.6 percent compared to the preceding year.

The Third Development Plan's quantitative objectives have been realized by 100 percent regarding export of non-oil commodities.

Some 7.14 million dollars and 3.58 million dollars of the figure were related to export of goods and services, respectively.

According to the official statistics, over 1.17 million tons of goods, valued at 486.4 million dollars were exported from the country in the last month of 1383 (February 19, 2005-March 20, 2005).

The figure pointed to a rise of 40 percent compared to the same period in 1382.
