Tehran, April 18, IRNA-Presidential candidate Mostafa Moin said on Monday that he will fight violation of human rights and will introduce Iran as model for respecting human rights.
Speaking at Qazvin University of Medical Science, he said that he insisted on human rights because Islam gave importance to it.
He said he will appoint a vice-president for human rights affairs if he is elected to the presidency on June 17.
Moin said that human being is representative of God on the Earth and should be respected.
He expressed regret that Zahra Kazemi, Iranian photojournalist died during investigation and said that the event dealt a blow to the prestige of Iran.
"It is not acceptable such an event take place in a country with such a civilization and culture," he said.
He said that he believes that establishment of democracy makes a breakthrough for economic development.
Moin said that democracy and progress through respecting public opinion is the only way that he would follow in his administration and that a charismatic figure cannot do alone for the progress of the nation.
He predicted that June 17 will register a magnificent turnout if the unacceptable procedure of the seventh Majlis not take place again in the presidential election.
