Europeans have called for delay in nuclear talks with Iran: SNSC official

Tehran, April 27, IRNA-The Europeans have called for a delay in Iran-Europe nuclear talks due to the upcoming presidential elections in Iran and the parliamentary elections in Britain, an official at the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) said here Wednesday.

Head of the SNSC Committee of Dissemination of Information Ali Aqa Mohammadi, addressing officials of the Union of the Islamic Association of Students, expressed optimism over the outcome of the steering committee session, scheduled to be held in London on April 29.

"Today, we are seeking for definition of a new interaction with the world except the United States," he said.

What today is raised as Iran's nuclear case, has been a challenge between Iran and the West since the beginning of the 1979 Islamic Revolution. The challenge has now turned to a negotiation stage, he added.
