Tehran, April 30, IRNA-Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Hassan Rowhani said here Saturday recent talks between Iran and the three European states in London achieved good progress.
"The Europeans (Germany, Britain, and France) shared more similar views with Iran in this round of talks than the previous rounds in Paris and Geneva," Rowhani told reporters on the sidelines of his visit to the Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKIA).
He said Iran's proposal presented in the steering committee meeting in Paris on March 23 and recent talks in Geneva was discussed.
"The main problem is that Iran may have not similar views with the Europeans on implementation of the country's proposals and plan in terms of time schedule.
"The Europeans still stress on further time to study details of the plan and answer possible questions to be posed by the two sides," he added.
The SNSC stressed, "Iran believes the proposed plan and at least parts of it or its first phase is ready to be implemented.
"This is the issue Iran and the Europeans have differences of opinion on." He added that talks would not be continued in a way the Europeans expect, saying, "Iran may make new decision.
"But this will not mean negotiations with the Europeans will end.
Iran will continue talks and contact with the Europeans.
"We may continue negotiations with the Europeans on the Islamic Republic's proposal but we will make other decisions in terms of time of its implementation."
