Tehran, Aug 22, IRNA-Iran earned an estimated dlrs 2.4 billion revenue in the first five months of the year (started on March 21) from export of 8.2 million tons of oil derivatives, said a senior Iranian official in Tehran on Monday.
Deputy Head of the International Affairs Department at National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) Hojatollah Ghanimifard told IRNA that increase in the revenue was due to rising crude prices on the international markets in the said period.
Ghanimifard said gas oil, kerosene, kiln oil, naphtha and gas liquids were the major exported items in the period under study.
He said the exact figures on the earnings will be specified by end of Mordad, the fifth month in Iranian calendar.
He added that kiln oil followed by gas condensates were major exported items, while kerosene was at the bottom of the export list in the period.
