Tehran, Dec 31, IRNA-The first consignment of Iranian automobiles consisting of 250 sedans exported to Iraq, Deputy Export Manager for Iran Khordo company Alireza Mirzaie said in Tehran on Saturday.

Iran Khodro is committed to deliver some 500 sedans to Iraq by the year end, he said.

It is predicted the figure would reach 2,000 by next year, he said.

Based on recent opinion polls in Iraq on quality of Iranian made automobiles, they asserted that the quality of Iranian products is compatible with the foreign brands, he said.

Success of Iran Khordo in finding footsteps in the Iraqi market could be defined as having high quality, suitable price, proper marketing and satisfactory after-sales service, Mirzaie said.
