Talking to IRNA here Tuesday, IAEA spokeswoman Melissa Fleming said inspectors of the agency will depart for Tehran in the near future following Friday talks between an Iranian delegation and the IAEA representatives in Vienna.
The Iranian delegation conferred with the IAEA representatives on ways to inspect Parchin site and the date for the inspection, she said.
Asked about the date of inspection, she added inspecting a center will last three to four days but it may be prolonged if necessary.
She noted the visit is aimed at inspecting just military facilities of Parchin, stressing no other plans are on agenda.
Iran allowed IAEA to inspect Parchin site upon a request by IAEA chief Mohamed ElBaradei.
ElBaradei on Monday welcomed Iran's green light to IAEA inspection of Parchin and said the inspectors will test the environment of the region by special equipment and will decide wether any nuclear activities have been carried out there.
