Some 100 domestic and foreign companies are participating with a display of their latest products and innovations in the field of aviation, including planes and helicopters.
Companies from Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Malaysia, The Netherlands, Russia, Sweden, England, Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates have set up pavilions in the exhibition.
Kish Trade and Development Center Managing Director Manouchehr Emami, speaking at the inaugural ceremony, said the number of Iranian companies attending the exhibition this year has gone up by 46 percent compared to last year's figure.
Moreover, he said the number of foreign companies participating have gone up by 86 percent compared to the figure last year.
The prestigious international event is taking place in a covered 28,000-square-meter area and in a 100,000-square-meter open space.
