Tokyo, July 29, IRNA-Iran finished runner-up to India at the Asian 16-17 Freestyle Wrestling Championships ended in Japan Thursday. The Iranian team snatched three golds, two silvers, and two bronzes, ranking second on 77 points.
India celebrated the title with an asset of three gold, four silver, and three bronze medals, bringing the subcontinent state 90 points.
Japan took the third title on 60 points as it won one gold, one silver, and one bronze.
Thirteen teams from Japan, India, Iran, South Korea, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Taiwan, Iraq, Sri Lanka, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates competed at the Asian event.
