Tehran, July 29, IRNA-A mild earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale jolted the city of Sabzevar in the northeastern province of Razavi Khorasan Thursday evening.
The seismological base of Geophysics Institute, affiliated to Tehran University, recorded the quake at 18:30 hours local time (1400 GMT).
The tremor was felt in the city's outskirts, located in 36.25 latitude and 57.68 longitude, the base said.
There were no reports of damage to properties caused by the quake, added the report.
Quakes of varying magnitudes are of usual occurrence in Iran, which lies on one of the world's most active seismic fault lines.
