Germans and Austrians to teach Tourism to Iranians

The tranings will be targeted toward both the private and the governmental sector of the tourism industry as a complementary course for previous classes and seminars held.

Tehran, May 30 (CHN) - The Iranian Tourleaders Society is to hold for Iranian tourism staff training classes in Inont of Germany and IMC University of Austria.

The tranings will be targeted toward both the private and the governmental sector of the tourism industry as a complementary course for previous classes and seminars held.

The course starts at the end of June 2005 running through to the end of September and some 30 tourism-related personnel will take part in them, explained a member of the directing board of Iranian Tourleaders Society, Hamid Sebt Husseini, adding that subjects such as tourism standards looked for in first-rate tourist destinations of the world and the international issues of the industry will be covered during the course.

Moreover, according to Sebt Husseini, following the requests of the Tourleaders' Society, the Iranian Cultural Heritage and Tourism Organization (ICHTO) has decided to provide some facilities to set up a tourism school in Iran with the cooperation of Germany and Austria.

The school aims at elevating the tourism standards of Iran to the global ones, and in case of being successful in outcomes, it will become a permanent one.
