Tehran, June 1, IRNA-President Seyed Mohammad Khatami attended IRI national football team's camp on Wednesday and watched their exercises.

The president also checked the exercises programs of the country's national side and the footballers' readiness for their next matches against North Korea and Bahrain.

He wished them success and expressed happiness over being among them.

The officials of Physical Education Organization and Football Federation accompanied the president during the visit and the technical staff of the national team submitted the latest information on Iran's national football team and the two rival teams to the president.

The visit, the first of its kind, was quite noticeable for athletic experts and sports reporters.

Some reports say the president will be also present in Azadi Sports Stadium during the match with Bahrain National Football Team.
