Assalouyeh, Bushehr prov., June 9, IRNA-Iran's Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh said here on Thursday that Iran is ready for cooperation with Iraq in various areas.
In an exclusive interview with IRNA, Zanganeh said transfer of Iraq's oil to Iran and transport of oil derivatives from Iran to Iraq are among the most important areas of mutual cooperation.
Zanganeh said Tehran has held talks with the Iraqi side on such cooperation, hoping that agreements will be reached between the two sides during the Iraqi prime minister's visit to Tehran.
He said Iran is also interested in sharing technological know-how with Baghdad.
Iranian companies' contribution to reconstruction of Iraq's facilities can be one of the important points to be raised in talks with Iraqi officials, he added.
The Iraqi oil minister had already announced Iraq's readiness for all-out cooperation with Iran.
