Tehran, June 28, IRNA-Fifty short and long films from Iranian and foreign film directors are due to go on screen on the second day of the Fourth International Green Film Festival.
The event, which is a thematic festival, is dedicated to the subject of environment and nature.
Out of 600 films from 30 countries, including 500 Iranian and 100 foreign movies, which were submitted to the secretariat of this year's festival, 120 were selected for screening at various competition sections.
Turkey, France, the Netherlands, India, Britain, the US, Germany, Serbia and Montenegro, Syria, Argentina, Russia, Australia, Italy, Indonesia, Canada, Japan and Lebanon are represented in the ongoing festival.
The selected films categorized as animation, feature, movie, documentary and news coverage will be screened at 900 centers across the country.
The Fourth International Green Film Festival will end on July 1, when the selected works will be announced.
