Tehran, March 9, IRNA -- Iranian Parliament (Majlis), in its Wednesday evening open session approved of a special budget aimed at discovery and annulment of US plots, intrigues, and interferences in Islamic Republic of Iran's internal affairs.
Some of the affairs on which the special budget can be spent include "filing complaints at international bodies", "enlightenment of the public opinion in Iran and abroad on US cultural onslaught", "effective elaboration on breaching the articles of the Algeria Agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United State of America at numerous cases by Washington", and "filing complaints on behalf of the victims of chemical weapons provided by the United States during the eight-year Iraq imposed war."
The money allocated to the purpose would be distributed among concerned organizations after final ratification of the law by the President and through his office.
Meanwhile, the Management and Planning Organization is obliged according to one of the articles of the law to report to the 'National Security' and 'Foreign Policy and Legal Affairs' commissions of the Majlis, once every three months on proper allocation of the budget to pre-determined purposes by concerned organizations.
Another article of the law allows the cabinet to allocate up to nine billion rials (around one million US dollars) of assistance to any foreign country, organization, or economic firm involved in activities in line with the law's objectives.
