Tehran, May 1, IRNA-Iran and India, in the 4th round of mutual strategic dialogue here Sunday underlined firm determination of the two countries to follow up the agreements on implementation a gas pipeline project from Iran to India and Pakistan.
The 4th round of Iran-India 'Strategic Dialogue', headed by Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Mohsen Aminzadeh and Undersecretary of Indian Ministry of External Affairs Rajiv Sigri, was held here Sunday, the Information and Press Department at Foreign Ministry reported.
The two officials, in the meeting, noted that the liquefied natural gas (LNG) contract is the achievement of mutual cooperation and underlined continuation and expansion of cooperation in transit of goods, according to the report.
They also underscored the need for both sides to enter into joint investment projects, calling for proceeding with exchange of delegations between Tehran and New Delhi.
The visiting Indian official, earlier in the day, conferred with Iran's Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Hassan Rowhani.
