Dushanbe, May 9, IRNA-Iran's Red Crescent Society (IRCS) renders various medical services in 17 foreign states via its clinics, an IRCS official said in Dushanbe on Sunday.
Addressing a ceremony commemorating the anniversary of the International Red Cross Day, Head of IRCS clinic in Tajikistan, Mojtaba Erfan-Nejad, added Iran's Red Crescent has currently clinics in different parts of the globe including, Central Asian states, the Caucasus, Persian Gulf littoral states, Africa and Afghanistan.
IRCS is among 10 top active states of the International Federation of Red Cross and the Red Crescent societies, thanks to its large scale of relief works, he said.
He noted that the IRCS, enjoying 300 branches, is the biggest relief working organization in the country.
Erfan-Nejad added that the activities of his society are not politically-motivated.
