Fernando Espí was born
in Jijona,
Spain. He has
carried out his higher studies in Alicante Conservatory with the management of
José Tomás, and he has been the winner of the extraordinary award of the course.
He has been awarded in
1998, 2001, 2002 and 2004 as best guitarist in International Contests like
“Francisco Tárrega”, “Luys Milán”, “Antonio Aparicio” and in the XVI
International Contest of Princess Cristina – Guerrero Foundation.
