Tehran, May 25, IRNA-An earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale hit northern suburbs of the city of Anarak in the central province of Isfahan on Tuesday evening.
Isfahan seismological center affiliated to the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University, said that it recorded the tremor at 21:45 hours local time (1715 GMT).
The tremble was registered in an area located in 33.81 degree latitude and 53.82 degree longitude in Anarak outskirts.
There are no report of damage to properties caused by the quake, the center added.
Iran is situated in one of the world's most active seismic fault lines and quakes of varying magnitudes are of usual occurrence.
