Tehran, May 26, IRNA-A mild earthquake measuring 3.6 on Richter scale jolted suburbs of the city of Lali in southwestern province of Khuzestan Thursday.

The seismological base of Geophysics Institute of Tehran University registered the tremor at 11:03 hours local time (0633 GMT) on the outskirts of Lali.

The tremble was recorded at an area located in 32.53 degree latitude and 49.55 degree longitude.

Another earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale hit suburbs of the northern city of Astara in the Caspian Sea province of Gilan Thursday morning.

The seismological base of Geophysics Institute of Tehran University recorded the tremor at 06:29 hours local time (0159 GMT).

The tremble was registered at Astara outskirts, in an area located in 38.40 degree latitude and 48.64 degree longitude.

There was no report on possible damage to properties caused by either of the quakes.
