Tehran, Nov 7, IRNA-The 13th Int'l Conference on Central Asia and the Caucasus is to kick off in Tehran on Monday with an inaugural address by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Delegates from Iran and 22 other states are participating in the two-day confab dubbed "Regional Developments: Interaction and and Confrontation in Strategies".
The delegates will discuss key political developments and events in Central Asia and the Caucasus over the past year.
Azerbaijan, Germany, the United States, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Sweden, Britain, Italy, Tajikistan, Turkey, the Czech Republic, China, Romania, Russia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Poland, the Netherlands and India are among the countries sending delegates to the conference.
Iranian university professors and researchers in scientific and research centers of northern provinces, Azarbaijan and Khorassan will be among the speakers who will speak on their respective scientific and research articles.
