Tehran, Nov 15, IRNA-Iraq's National Security Advisor Mowafaq al-Rubai, heading a political delegation, arrived in Tehran Tuesday for a three-day official visit.
Al-Rubai, upon his arrival in Tehran, was welcomed by the Executive Deputy and Security Deputy of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ghafour and Ja'fari, respectively.
Al-Rubai, during his three-day stay in the country, is scheduled to hold talks with SNSC Secretary Ali Larijani, Interior Minister Mostafa Pour-Mohammadi and Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki.
He is accompanied in this current visit by Iraqi Minister of State for National Security Abd al-Karim al-Anzi and his deputy.
Iraq's top security official and his delegation will meet top Iranian officials to discuss bilateral relations, political and security issues and tightening of border control.
