Tehran, Nov 21, IRNA-A mild earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale hit the city of Zarand in the southeastern province of Kerman Sunday night.
According to the seismological base of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University, the quake occurred at 19:41 hours local time (16:11 GMT).
Its epicenter was located in the outskirts of Zarand, the report added.
There are no reports of any casualty or damage to property.
Quakes of varying magnitudes often occur in Iran, which is situated on some of the world's most active seismic faultlines.
