Tehran, Oct 28, IRNA-An earthquake measuring 3.6 on the open-ended Richter scale jolted the city of Bandar Abbas in southern part of the country on Friday.

According to the Seismological Institute of Tehran University, the tremor occurred at 00:03 local time (08:33 hours GMT).

There are no reports of any kind of damage or casualties caused by the tremor.
