New York, Sept 10, IRNA-US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said that she may say hello to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad if she comes across Iranian President in corridors of the United Nations, USA Today said.
Lobbying against Iranian nuclear program, she said, "Iran needs to get a message from the international community that is a unified message."
She said she might say "hello" to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad if they come across each other in U.N. corridors. But gave no indication she was willing to have serious talks with him.
On another subject, Rice called for sweeping reform of the United Nations, including its management, though she said she expected to continue to work with U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan.
The United States is the largest single donor to the U.N. and "we need an accounting to the American people", she said.
