The Irresistible Shirin Patisserie in Tehran
By Syma Sayyah, Tehran

Shirin in Persian means sweet and the Shirin patisserie in the north part of Tehran - Freshteh Street, No. 56 Agha-Bozourgie Street- is without doubt my favorite patisserie in Tehran. It is very clean and spacious; there is a private yard where one can easily park, and the staff are extremely polite and know many customers by name, which is very touching.

Shirin's fruity, dry or creme cakes, their desserts of all kinds, the lovely nuts and above all their homemade chocolates are absolutely wonderful. They also do cakes made to order for all occasions; and they take care of special requirements for engagements, funerals or birthdays. Furthermore, they supply lovely items for sofereh aghed (wedding ceremony displays).

Whenever we have guests, Shirin is the place we go to for our desserts, sweets and nuts. I have a few pictures taken one morning that I'm sharing with you here.

Never can we pass by and fail to stop and buy a few different delicious, tasty lovely cakes or desserts for the household. Just try it out and I am sure the magical taste of their cakes and confectionary will captivate you too forever and ever!

Their number in Tehran is 22006476 & 22603035
