Tehran, Sept 14, IRNA-Peugeot 206 Aryan project cost Iran's auto manufacturing giant, Iran Khodro Co., about rls 830 billion (92 million dollrs), managing director of the Company Manouchehr Manteqi said in Tehran on Wednesday.

Addressing a ceremony to unveil Peugeot 206 Aryan, produced in a joint venture with French major car manufacturing company Peugeot, Manteqi said the car, produced by his company -- the sole producer of the model of the car based on the latest world quality standards -- will be exported to 38 countries.

Manteqi said his company is busy designing a new version of Samand, pretty different with the present models of the car on the domestic market.

He said the new version of Samand will be marketed both in domestic and overseas markets in five different models by next September.
