A 4.2-Richter earthquake trembled suburbs of the city of Anarak in the eastern Iranian Province of Isfahan at 27:53 hours local time (23:23 GMT) on Friday, IRNA reported.
Isfahan Seismographic Network, affiliated to Isfahan University's Geophysics Institute, said the quake was registered on 33.77 degrees latitude and 53.99 degrees longitude.
Another earthquake with the magnitude of three points on the open-ended Richter scale shook the border city of Marivan in western Kurdistan Province at 13:22 hours local time (08:52 GMT) on Friday.
Tehran Seismographic Center said the quake was registered on 35.51 degrees latitude and 44.23 degrees longitude.
No report is yet available on the toll or damage caused by either of the quakes.
