Iranian Students stage protest in front of British Embassy in Tehran

Tehran, Sept 28, IRNA-Several hundred students of Tehran University gathered in front of British Embassy to protest the London government's action in passing anti-Iran resolution in International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

The students released a statement supporting Iran's legitimate right to get access to civilian nuclear energy.

They condemned anti-Iran resolution of IAEA Board of Governors as "oppressive" and said that they support the government's action in securing the country's rights enshrined in Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

Police have sealed off the area and the demonstrations are underway in a peaceful manner.

Iranian and foreign reporters and cameramen are seen in the area.

People are gradually joining the protestors.

"We want to produce fuel for our own power plants," one placard read.
