Tehran, April 7, IRNA-A tremor measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale hit the city of Boroujerd in the western province of Lorestan on Thursday.
An earthquake measuring 5 degrees on the Richter scale rocked Boroujerd at 05:01 hours local time (0131 GMT) on March 31.
A quake measuring 4.7 also jolted the city of Doroud in the same province at 19:47 hours local time (1617 GMT) on March 30.
Several quakes measuring 4.7 to 6 have rattled the two cities.
The quakes and aftershocks left 63 people dead and 1,418 others injured.
Some 15,000 families have also been left homeless and 330 villages damaged in varying degrees.
According to the seismological base of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University, the 4.9-degree aftershock occurred at 19:06 hours local time (1536 GMT).
The tremor was felt in an area measuring 48.54 degrees in longitude and 33.78 degrees in latitude, the report added.
There have been no reports of any casualty or damage to property caused by the recent quake.
