Tehran, April 25 (ISNA)-"Persian Gulf Studies; Culture and Civilization" international symposium is to be held with the aim of expanding scientific and university relations between Iranian researchers and other technical centers in the world.

This symposium, which is mainly on historical, geographical, social and political subjects, is to be held on the first and second of November 2006 at Tehran University.

Iran's Culture and Civilization Study Institute through the cooperation of Tehran University's History Department is in charge of holding this symposium.

Asian, European, American, African and Australian university professors will participate alongside Iranian scholars.
