Tehran, Aug 9, IRNA-Iranian Foreign Ministry summoned Swiss
charge d'affaires in Tehran on Wednesday to object the humiliating behavior of
US officials in several American international airports towards Iranian
graduates and experts of Sharif University of Technology.
Several Iranian graduates and experts of the distinguished
Sharif University of Technology had decided to participate in a scientific
meeting in the United States.
They had valid visas and invitation letters but faced
humiliating behavior by US officials
at the airports.
Iranian Foreign Ministry delivered a written objection to the
Swiss Embassy which guards the interests of the United States in Iran.
It condemned humiliating behavior of US officials towards
Iranian nationals in US.
Foreign Ministry official called on the Swiss Embassy to
immediately deliver Iran's objection to the US government.
US officials had fingerprinted Iranian elites and kept some of
them in custody for 24 hours.
