TEHRAN, Aug. 16 (Mehr News Agency) - Iran Oil Minister's Tuesday visit to Turkey has established a new chapter in energy field between the two nations and it would further entail peace and stability in the regional market as the result, Iran's Ambassador to Ankara commented here on Wednesday.
"Negotiations were held in a friendly and earnest atmosphere and the two counterparts went over many issues after two years," Firuz Dolatabadi said, adding both sides reiterated their commitments to the ongoing gas export venture and enhanced its implementation.
Moreover, the gas price in this contract is being calculated on the basis of the formulae incorporated into the contract, the ambassador stated, disclaiming holding any knowledge of the actual price.
The Iranian minister, Seyyed Kazem Vaziri-Hamaneh, also met with deputy prime minister of Turkey on Tuesday and exchanged views on further development of economic ties between the two countries.
