TEHRAN, Aug. 28 (Mehr News Agency) - Iran ranked second at the eighth Asian youth and Under-21 karate competitions in Singapore Monday.

With 14 colorful medals, Iran finished runner-up to Japan and Kazakhstan took the third place.

Japan stole the show with 13 golds, two silvers, and two bronzes while Iran won four golds, five silvers, and five bronzes and Kazakhstan bagged two golds, five silvers, and five bronzes.

Malaysia, Kuwait, Singapore, Vietnam, Taiwan, Indonesia, Macao, Hong Kong, and Saudi Arabia stood fourth to 12th respectively.
