Bandar Abbas, Hormuzgan province, Aug 29, IRNA-An Iran Air oeing 747 passenger plane en route to Malaysia from Tehran on Tuesday made an emergency landing at Bandar Abbas airport for technical reasons.

The passengers said that the airlines officials told them the airplane carrying some 400 passengers needs a spare part which should be brought from either Tehran or Shiraz.

Airport officials said that the airplane will head for Malaysia this afternoon after fixing the spare part.
