Beirut, Aug 29, IRNA-An Iranian delegation, headed by Vice-President for Executive Affairs Ali Saeedlou, arrived here Tuesday on a two-day visit to hold talks with senior Lebanese officials.

On hand to welcome the delegation was Lebanese Foreign Minister Fawzi Salloukh.

The sides are to discuss avenues for consolidation of bilateral relations and Iran's participation in reconstruction of Lebanon.

Saeedlou and his entourage are scheduled to hold talks with Lebanese President Emile Lahoud, Prime Minister Fuad Siniora, Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and officials of Lebanese Hizbollah on Tuesday.

The delegation will pay a visit to south of Lebanon and southern Beirut on Wednesday.

Minister of Housing and Urban Development Mohammad Saeedi-Kia, Head of Iran's Red Crescent Society Dr Masood Khatami, Head of Tehran City Council Mehdi Chamran and a number of deputy ministers are accompanying Saeedlou in the visit.
