Doha, Dec 6, IRNA-The world's four-time and twice Olympic +105 kg weightlifting gold medalist Hossein Rezazadeh won the snatch, clean and jerk, and total titles at the 15th Asian Games in Doha on Wednesday.
The baby-faced lifter locked 195 kg above head in his third snatch attempt and 230 kg in his first clean and jerk attempt.
His Bulgarian-born Qatari archrival Jaber al-Salem lifted 185 and 225 kg.
Rezazadeh was the only Iranian weightlifter in the Games. Nine of the 11-strong Iranian team underwent doping tests by the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) on September 24 and reported to test positive for banned blood-enhancing drugs.
The Iranian team was to depart on September 25 for Santo Domingo, capital of the Dominican Republic, where the 75th World Weightlifting Championships were held.
The world body imposed a lifetime ban on Iran's Bulgarian trainer Georgi Ivanov.
The IWF heavily fined the Iranian federation and banned nine lifters for an unprecedented dope case.
