Tehran, Dec 10, IRNA - Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said on Sunday that there is no change in the stance of Russia and China on Iran.
"We have heard nothing about any change in their stance," he said.
He made the remarks on the sidelines of a ceremony held to official see off Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh.
In an exclusive interview with IRNA, he said a new draft resolution has been prepared by France, Britain and Germany.
France, Britain and Germany have prepared a draft resolution on Iran's nuclear dossier which is to be discussed in the UN Security Council on Monday, he said.
The draft resolution still envisions a ban on sales of material as well as nuclear and missiles technological know-how to Iran but materials with dual applications will be studied case by case, he said.
The new draft resolution authorizes Russia to complete Bushehr nuclear power plant and supply nuclear fuel to commission its reactor or at least abstain from giving votes, he said.
"We invite all parties to adopt a rational approach to Iran's nuclear case," he said.
Dialogue is the best option to remove existing ambiguities, he said, adding "Our response to the proposed offer by Europe and Group 5+1 has prepared the grounds for continuation of talks and following up the case.
"In our views the Islamic Republic of Iran has gained access to nuclear technological know-how and the issue is regarded as finalized," he said.
