Tehran, 20 February 2006 (CHN) -- In order to provide facilities for foreigners who wish to visit the southern provinces of Iran, Iranian cabinet ministers have agreed with issuing of 7-day visas in Bushehr and Asalouye airports.
"In order to facilitate the process for the coming of foreigners to the southern provinces of Iran, the cabinet ministers have agreed with issuing 7-day visas in Asalouye and Bushehr airports," said Gholamhossein Elham, Iranian government spokesman in a press conference.
On the other hand, the cabinet ministers also announced their agreement with the the Cultural Heritage and Tourism Organization of Iran, Control and Inspection Office of the Environmental Organization, and Forest and Rangeland Organization with the projects of tourism development in the forests, preserved areas and pastures in order to promote tourism industry especially ecotourism.
Iranian government spokesman also informed about the implementing the article 119 of the forth development program for further interaction and cooperation with neighboring countries in order to prevent goods and drug traffic, to bring the crimes under control, and also to increase the safety measures in the region in the form of mutual and multilateral agreements.
"During yesterday's session, the cabinet ministers agreed with the proposal of Ministry of Interior to hold the seminar of the Islamic countries' police in Tehran which will result in increasing the security measures in the region," added Elham.
