Every year, many Iranian scientists go to Iran for family visits without having an
opportunity to
interact with the universities there. Having thought about this issue and with
the objective of promoting collaboration of Iranian academics living abroad with
the scientific community in Iran, a group of us established a non-profit organization, Knowledge Diffusion
Network on December 2003 which was registered in
Canada last year.

Currently, our main project is the Visiting Lecturer
Program in which we try to facilitate the connection between the visitors and
the universities in Iran. We plan to organize lectures and workshops for those academics
who visit Iran. So
far, we have organized more than 50 scientific seminars in various areas in
different universities in Iran such as
Sharif University of Technology, Amirkabir University of Technology and Isfahan
University of Technology. To see the list
of all the seminars, please take a look

be thinking of travelling to Iran to
visit your friends and family for Nowruz or summer. If you are a graduate student,
a post-doctoral
fellow, a faculty
or a specialist, and plan to visit Iran and are interested
in giving a lecture related to your area of
research, please go to our website and fill out the form. Once we receive
your application, we will contact you either through email or phone to discuss
the details with you.
