Javane actors are first generation American-born Iranian children who are fluent in Persian although most of them may not speak it enough in their everyday life. Now for the first time these young actors will perform professionally, an adaptation of Shaparak Khanoom by Bijan Mofid, a lovely, warm, funny Iranian play with universal and humanistic appeal in Farsi on stage. Kourosh Taghavi who has composed many of the melodies and songs for the play will perform live on stage, bringing beautiful music to the production. Ali Dadgar and Shahrzad Khorsandi have done the amazing stage design and the choreography for the dances in this musical play.
