TEHRAN, July 3 (Mehr News Agency) - Two foreign companies have announced their readiness to invest in cable car construction over Choghakhor wetland to promote tourism in this beautiful spot of Borujen, Chaharmahal-o-Bakhtiari Province, Mahyar Ariani told the Persian service of IRNA on Monday.
"The initial phase of the plan is set at four kilometers at the cost of $1m/km and other facilities are to be built in the immediate vicinity," managing director of Cheshmandaz-e Zagros Company maintained, adding that the first stage should be ready within one and a half years.
Sitting in an area of 400 hectares, Choghakhor is one of the most spectacular natural sites in central Iran. An Austrian company and a firm from the Persian Gulf littoral states are going to participate in this joint venture.
The Zagros is an affiliate of Rafsanjan Development Plan Company.
